Manchester United transfer news and rumours: Gareth Bale, Mesut Ozil and Goncalo Guedes

All the latest Man Utd transfer news and rumours from across the British and European press on Sunday, January 7.
United will have competition from the Chinese Super League if Real Madrid sell Gareth Bale, according to the Sunday Mirror.
The newspaper reports CSL champions Guangzhou Evergrande - China's richest club - are willing to meet Madrid's £85m asking price and are undeterred by his injury record.
However, Bale's time on the treatment table is a reported concern for United, as is the price tag, with the Old Trafford hierarchy said to be rethinking their interest.
The Sunday Mirror also says that Jose Mourinho will make a stunning move to grab Mesut Ozil from Arsenal this month.
The Germany midfielder is out of contract in the summer with United ready to make a £35m January bid, before facing possible competition from PSG and Bayern Munich in a few months time should Ozil not sign a new Gunners deal.
United and Arsenal have joined the £30m battle for Shakhtar Donetsk's Brazil star Fred, the Daily Star on Sunday reports.
The attacking midfielder is attracting interest from a number of European clubs - including big spenders Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain - but the duo are thought to be the frontrunners.
Goncalo Guedes is on loan at Valencia from PSG

Football agent Jorge Mendes, who represents Jose Mourinho and Cristiano Ronaldo, is trying to push through a move for Goncalo Guedes to either United or Real Madrid, Don Balon reports.
The 21-year-old is one of the most exciting prospects in La Liga, where he is currently on loan at Valencia from PSG.
Bolton are demanding £4m for teenage goalkeeper Jake Turner to the surprise of Everton and United, the Sun on Sunday says.
He is yet to start for the Sky Bet League One side, but the Premier League pair want to develop him for the future although may have to stump up the cash for his services
